Lance Goudy has been in the IT industry for 20 years. In 1987 AirFone, the company responsible for the first public telephones on commercial airliners, recruited Lance to assist with a development that would change air travel communications. Lance led a team of engineers and technicians and is responsible for the design and implementation of the public airborne communications system. This complex collaboration of computer and air-to-ground radio technologies is now standard on over 5000 aircraft around the world.

Lance developed the curriculum for Advanced Electronics Technologies and Micro Computer Networking courses for the Computer Dynamics Institute of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Under his direction, the program received numerous awards and served as a model for similar programs throughout the US.

He served 9 years as a senior engineer and served two years as Network Engineering Manager.  As senior engineer and then manager, Lance lead a team of 8 engineers, 12 help desk technicians, and 30 developers. Projects included systems migrations, Infrastructure security, video, and audio streaming, web development, E-commerce, and Voice Over IP implementations.

Lance provides consultation and engineering services to companies in the US, UK, Kenya, Africa, and Australia, where business verticals range from manufacturing, law, and accounting firms to record, television, and film production companies.
